Description
On March 5, 2014 Kilchoman announced the launch of its first Travel Retail Exclusive bottling: “Coull Point” (the bottles were already available since the end of 2013). Continuing the tradition of naming their whiskies after landmarks near the distillery, “Coull Point” is a rugged headland just half a mile north of Machir Bay.
It is a vatting of 4 and 5 year old Fresh-Ex-Bourbon Barrels, with the 4 year old being finished in Oloroso Sherry Butts for 4 weeks . This is the same composition as in Machir Bay 2013, so you could call the Coull Point a Machir Bay Batch with its own name.
