PORT ASKAIG 12YRS 700ML

The Port Askaig range is brought to us by Specialty Drinks Limited who were responsible for the Elements of Islay independently bottled range brought to Australia a few years back. The single malt is produced at an undisclosed distillery however there is plenty of discussion that this is whisky from Caol Ila distillery on Islay. The whisky has been matured in nine refill American oak hogsheads, five Oloroso sherry butts and three solera sherry butts. Bottled at 45.8% it boasts fruity sweetness and balanced smoky wafts.
