Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Port Dundas is a blend of eight Scotch whiskies matured in second fill American oak casks and first fill highly charred American oak casks.
Ghost and Rare Port Dundas is bottled at 43.8% ABV and presented in a dark blue and orange bottle depicting a map of Scotland that highlights each of the distilleries used in the blend.
Johnnie Walker has announced Blue Label Ghost and Rare Port Dundas, the latest expression in a series of limited edition bottlings crafted using whiskies from closed “ghost” distilleries and other rare malt and grain whiskies.
A blend of eight Scotch whiskies matured in second fill American oak casks and first fill highly charred American oak casks.
The blend is composed of three “ghost” whiskies from the silent distilleries of Port Dundas, Brora, and Cambus, and five whiskies from the active distilleries of Auchroisk, Cameronbridge, Clynelish, Dailuaine, and Glenkinchie.
