Bruichladdich Yellow Submarine 14 Years 54.2%

The Bruichladdich Yellow Submarine [Reclassified] serves as the distinguished fourth release in the distillery’s esteemed “Whisky of Mass Distinction” (WMD) series. This limited-edition bottling commemorates the 25th anniversary of Bruichladdich’s 2001 reopening, honoring a unique chapter in Islay history involving the recovery of a military submarine near the distillery’s coastline

Produced from 100% Scottish Appaloosa barley, this unpeated expression underwent 14 years of maturation on Islay in a specialized selection of 75% first-fill bourbon barrels and 25% first- and second-fill French Bordeaux red wine casks. The final product is a non-chill-filtered whisky, free from artificial coloring, which highlights the significant textural depth and vibrant, fruit-driven profile characteristic of Bruichladdich’s unpeated distillate.
