This 2018 edition is a highly limited annual release from the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. Distilled 2.5 times and matured for a quarter of a century, this specific bottling departed from previous years by using refill Oloroso sherry casks exclusively, rather than a combination of bourbon and port wood.

Only 1,200 bottles were released worldwide at a strength of 46% ABV. It is celebrated for its deep, natural color and complex profile that balances the distillery’s signature maritime saltiness with rich, aged characteristics like dunnage warehouse mustiness, old leather, and campfire ash. On the palate, it offers a silky, mouth-filling texture with layers of forest fruits, toasted marshmallows, and zesty orange peel.
